<p style='margin: 0px 8px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; clear: both; min-height: 1em; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", "PingFang SC", "Hiragino Sans GB", "Microsoft YaHei UI", "Microsoft YaHei", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important;'><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important; font-size: 18px;">这一时期官营畜牧业的管理细节，在P.3028《吐蕃占领敦煌时期官营牧羊算会历状》中可以窥见，此文书为五个官营羊群从羊年到狗年的经营记录。从文书来看，首先，这些羊群颇具规模，多则800余口，少则300余口。官府对羊群监管相当严格，定期清点各类羊的数量、病死及破用羊、羊皮数等，时间一般在四、五月。其次，这些羊群由专门的官府牧人放牧。吐蕃本土的官营畜牧业按畜种各有专门的牧人负责，据《德乌宗教源流》记载:“七牧，直属赞普、或者管理政府所经营的官方牲畜者，他们得‘牧人’之称呼，共有7种：洛昂牧马人、达木巴牧牛人、惹喀牧山羊人、喀尔巴牧山羊人、桂氏牧驴人、恰氏牧狗人、俄氏养猪人。”这种制度在敦煌也得以推行，P.3028号文书所载“达哩”、“契苶”、“山山定奴”、“拽赞”、“契书”等均为专事放牧的官府牧人。从这些人的姓名来看，并非敦煌当地汉人或粟特人，可能是从吐蕃本土随军迁来的吐蕃人，这也正应了P.3350《下女夫词》所载“汉奴专知仓库，胡奴检校牛羊”一语。另外，这些人名后均缀有“群”字，当指其负责的羊群。显然，每一羊群并非仅由文书所载的一人负责，文书中屡次出现破用羊皮中有一部分用来“充本群冬衣”，说明该群还有其他牧羊人。如此，则载有姓名者为该群牧人的头人，相当于唐朝监牧体系中的“牧长/群头”，而“群”在此处也不再仅是区分羊群的单位，还是区分牧人的单位。再次，这些羊群破用损耗非常厉害，除自然死亡、病死外，大部分为食用，可见此时的官营牧羊业主要是为了满足食用需求。</span></p>
<p style='margin: 0px 8px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; clear: both; min-height: 1em; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", "PingFang SC", "Hiragino Sans GB", "Microsoft YaHei UI", "Microsoft YaHei", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important;'><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important; font-size: 18px;">另外，该文书记载悉诺罗曾于羊年五月七日清点过一次敦煌羊群，之后诸年清点者未载。悉诺罗其人还出现在P.2729a《辰年(788)三月僧尼部落米净辩牒》中：“算使论悉诺罗接谟勘牌子历”，从姓名看此人为吐蕃人，当是在吐蕃占领初期被派往敦煌检阅人口和清点畜群的下层官吏。距788年最近的羊年是791年，在790年敦煌分部落之后不久。据此或可推断，吐蕃占领敦煌之初，由于当地职官体系尚未完全建立，只能派遣吐蕃官员前来主持公务，位高者如大相尚绮心儿总领州事，位低者如论悉诺罗负责具体工作。论悉诺罗在788年左右先检阅户口，为790年划分部落一事做准备。待部落制完全建立，敦煌百姓除寺户外均已纳为部落属民，各项经济制度也基本颁行，社会生产已步入正轨，部落属民中有一小部分人员遂被指派经营官营畜牧业，随后论悉诺罗便于791年第一次清点了官府所有的羊群数目。除此二文书外，算使一职和悉诺罗其人均不再见载，据此推断，算使一职隶属于敦煌上级官府，可能是瓜州节度衙，也可能是吐蕃本土，在清点工作完成后即被召回。之后畜牧业的管理转由当地财务官员负责，而负责清点工作的可能就是常见载于敦煌文书的“判官”一类下层官吏。</span></p>
<p style='margin: 0px 8px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; clear: both; min-height: 1em; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", "PingFang SC", "Hiragino Sans GB", "Microsoft YaHei UI", "Microsoft YaHei", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important;'><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important; font-size: 18px;">官府牧人的身份和负担，我们可从S.11454D、S.11454E、S.11454F、S.11454G等几件文书知悉。其中，S.11454D、S.11454E是某部落左诸将缴纳畜产品的记录，从中可以看出，官府牧人的身份为部落属民，他们要向官府缴纳羊毛、羊酥、乳酪、羔子皮等产品，负担相当沉重。S.11454F《戌、亥等年左五至左十将供羊历》记载吐蕃官府从牧羊人所放羊群中征调羊只，一部分供给丝绵监军、殿下、都督、上使等吐蕃官员享用，一部分用作祭祀神灵的供品，从文书中写有“同”字来看，负责勾检的判官还对数目进行了核验。S.11454G《酉年至亥年曹宝宝等羊籍》则记载了左三将牧羊人曹宝宝、张良、石秀等所放牧羊群的供用破死羊口及新生羊羔的情况，登记了存栏数量。这几件文书所载人名多有重复，当为同一部落。据陆离先生考证，左诸将属于行人部落，S.11454F号文书中又载有“丝绵监军”，按吐蕃在敦煌划分行人部落为790年事，弃置丝绵部落为820年事，则这一组文书的年代在790－820年之间无疑。另有S.5824《经坊供菜关系牒》所载行人部落的供菜名单中有“判罗悉鸡”，丝绵部落的供菜人名单中有“屈罗悉鸡”，“罗悉鸡”即藏语“牧羊人”的音译，这进一步证明官府牧人的身份属于部落百姓无疑。</span></p>

<p style='margin: 0px 8px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; clear: both; min-height: 1em; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", "PingFang SC", "Hiragino Sans GB", "Microsoft YaHei UI", "Microsoft YaHei", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important;'><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important; font-size: 18px;">寺院畜牧业的经营状况，在S.542v第1－5号文书中有详细的记载。这是一组敦煌寺院羊群的点算牒状，详细记载了丑年十二月莲台寺、金光明寺、普光寺、灵修寺、大乘寺五个寺院向都司上报点算羊群的相关情况。由文书来看，首先，寺院畜牧业由寺卿具体负责。寺卿是由俗人担任的下层僧官，主要负责督察、协理各类寺务，寺院的佛羊、福田羊每年年终由各寺寺卿及寺主点算后向都司汇报。其次，点算之羊多为福田羊、佛羊，当是从都司处请领而来，点算时间均在十二月，点算地点除普光寺未记录外，其余四件均载有“于报恩寺暖堂点算”之语。之所以集中在报恩寺点算，当与吐蕃时期敦煌的僧官制度有关。吐蕃时期敦煌僧团的最高首领是都教授，位列其它寺教授之上，总领敦煌佛教事务，诸寺寺卿请羊、点算时要前往都教授所在处请示。报恩寺的寺教授李惠因后来升任了都教授，故诸寺要在报恩寺汇报。据S.6604《四分戒本疏》末尾题记可知，“亥年(819)”这位李教授还是报恩寺寺教授，升任都教授当在此后，则上述文书所载“丑年”可能为821年。第三，从各寺点算羊群数量来看，规模最大者95口，最小者33口，各寺合计282口，每寺平均为56口，可见寺院牧群的规模并不大。第四，寺院对羊群监管十分严格，对违规牧羊人施以一定处罚。如S.542v(4)记载，灵修寺点算时“卖肉腔令陪羖羊叁口”，肉腔即掏去内脏没有头部的羊身，寺方对私自出售肉腔者要求赔付羖羊三口，处罚颇为严厉，可见牧羊人无权任意处分死损羊只，更不得私自售卖。</span></p>

<p style='margin: 0px 8px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; clear: both; min-height: 1em; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", "PingFang SC", "Hiragino Sans GB", "Microsoft YaHei UI", "Microsoft YaHei", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important;'><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important; font-size: 18px;">民间经营畜牧业按饲主身份不同，可分为官员大族和普通民众两种情形。吐蕃统治者对敦煌当地世家大族实行优待，因而上层社会的官员大族仍然拥有雄厚的经济实力，持有的牲畜数量一般都较可观。P.4640《阴处士碑》载阴氏家族“畎平河之溉济，蚕赋马鸣”，其家窟中所绘壁画亦是“穴地多骍角之群，叱石畜仙羊跪乳”。前引P.3410文书中所载僧崇恩饲养的牲畜数量也不少，除了施入寺庙的部分，尚有“□岁草马一疋，充卖〔买〕寺南宅一躯四口并院落”;又有牸牛大小五头，留给优婆夷清净意使用;耕牛一头，留给数年来为自己“内外知家事”的僧人文信。P.3774《丑年(821)十二月沙州僧龙藏牒》记载的齐周家族也经营着规模不小的畜群。齐周家中本无牲畜饲养，因其父为部落使，始得吐蕃官府拨给羊、马、牛等。齐周雇佣牧子经营十年后，牲畜数量大大增加，羊群数量甚至翻了十倍。这些牲畜后来大部分为贼所掠，齐周又很快从“知己亲情百姓”处请来不少牛、驴、羊，民间饲养牲畜之普遍可见一斑。</span></p>

<p style='margin: 0px 8px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; clear: both; min-height: 1em; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", "PingFang SC", "Hiragino Sans GB", "Microsoft YaHei UI", "Microsoft YaHei", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important;'><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important; font-size: 18px;">除了分家契外，我们还可以从买卖牲畜的契约中一窥当时民间饲养的情况。如P.T.1027(3)《购马契约》记载了羊年春僧人张本嘉以五两银子向蔡多部落百姓甲杂腊赞购买马匹一事，P.T.1094《鼠年博牛契》记载了悉董萨部落百姓李玉赉主仆从通颊斯东巴部落千夫长贪论嘘律扎之奴安鲍迪手中以三两纯银购买黄牛之事。这两件藏文文书中买牛均用纯银，而汉文文书中所载的牛、驴出卖时皆以粮食、布匹等实物支付。如S.5820+S.5826《未年(803)尼僧明相卖牛契》就记载了尼僧明相因为没有粮食又身负债务，而将自己所养“无印记”的黑牸牛出卖于张抱玉，以换取汉斗麦壹拾贰硕、粟贰硕。同样的情形在其他文书中亦有反映，如S.1475v(6)《寅年(822)令狐宠宠卖牛契》记载，令狐宠宠因无年粮种子，便将一头无印记的六岁紫犍牛以麦汉斗壹拾玖硕的价钱卖于同部落武光辉；P.2583《申年比丘尼修德等施舍疏》亦载“牛三头折得上牛两头，共计十三石”，这些都反映出民间养牛的普遍。另外，杨际平先生从这些记录推算出敦煌当地一头牛的价格“大约相当于一匹绢或五石粮，比起内地，无疑要便宜得多”，这从侧面反映出敦煌当地畜牧业的发展程度较高。此外，P.4957号文书还载有“麦两硕贰斗充取丑娘雇驴及人粮用”，说明百姓的牲畜不但用于贸易交换，也用于出雇。由于私人畜牧业在吐蕃时期资料很少，还看不出其在整个敦煌畜牧业中所占比重，但到了归义军时期，私营畜牧业一跃成为当地畜牧业的主体。</span></p>
<p style='margin: 0px 8px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; clear: both; min-height: 1em; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", "PingFang SC", "Hiragino Sans GB", "Microsoft YaHei UI", "Microsoft YaHei", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important;'><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important; font-size: 18px;">需要注意的一点是，这几件文书专门将“无印记”注明，可见当时敦煌地区私家牲畜烙印普遍存在，说明吐蕃时期当地流行畜印制度。畜印制度即根据牲畜的品种、性别、岁齿、良驽等登记入籍后，分别次第，再将不同印记烙于牲畜的不同部位，形成显著而持久的标志。不仅官畜烙有印记，寺院、私家牲畜皆带有某种印记，表明牲畜的归属，使放养、繁育和管理不至发生混乱，也能防止被盗或在丢失后便于寻找，牲畜死亡时亦可作鉴别身份之用。前引S.542v(4)号文书所载“无印陪羖羊壹口”即是指此，印记成为清点核对羊数的根据，没有印记则说明羊有丢失、死亡等情况，必须由牧羊人赔偿。畜印制度是与畜籍制度相配合的，上述几件牲畜买卖文书，大都清楚标明了交易牲畜的外形特征，如P.T.1027(3)详细记载所购马匹的毛色、纹理为:“儿马，白额，马身有叶状与鹘点斑纹。”P.T.1094记载所购之牛的毛色、角形为:“毛色红而有光泽，犄角直立，脸部有斑纹”，这就相当于建立了畜籍。</span></p>

<p style='margin: 0px 8px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; clear: both; min-height: 1em; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", "PingFang SC", "Hiragino Sans GB", "Microsoft YaHei UI", "Microsoft YaHei", Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; letter-spacing: 0.544px; text-align: justify; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-indent: 2em; line-height: 2em; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important;'><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; outline: 0px; max-width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box !important; overflow-wrap: break-word !important; font-size: 18px;">敦煌当地得天独厚的放牧环境、良好的畜牧业经营基础加上吐蕃重视畜牧业的游牧民族传统，保证了吐蕃入主敦煌以后当地畜牧业的恢复与发展。这一时期畜牧业的经营模式主要包括官府经营、寺庙经营、民间经营三种。其中，虽然寺营畜牧业的规模较官营为小，但二者在管理制度上有诸多相似。首先，都受相应机构的严格监管，并定期清点畜群。官营畜牧业受到上自瓜州节度衙署畜牧官、下至敦煌当地财政官吏的监管，由官府于每年四、五月对畜群进行清点;寺营畜牧业则由寺卿具体负责监管，于每年十二月清点畜群并向都司汇报。其次，官营畜牧业由部落百姓充任牧人，执行放牧劳役，并按期缴纳羊毛、酥、乳酪等畜产品;寺营畜牧业则由寺户充任牧人，其妻女还要承担羊毛纺织等畜产品加工劳役。再次，就畜群种类而言，二者均蓄养有羊、牛、马、驼、驴等，但牧羊业规模最盛。民间亦普遍饲养牲畜，按饲主身份不同可划分为官员大族和普通民众两种情形。身处上层社会的官员大族拥有雄厚的经济实力，持有牲畜量较为可观;普通百姓则只在自家庑舍圈养一二头较大牲畜以备耕作、交通等畜力。无论哪种经营模式，官府对畜牧业都采取了簿籍制度和畜印制度相配合的管理方式，以便确认牲畜的归属，防止放养、繁育和管理中发生混乱。多元的经营模式，可观的畜群数量，以及较为完备的管理制度，都是畜牧业发展的表现，也从一个侧面反映出吐蕃统治下敦煌经济的缓慢复苏，这些都为归义军时期畜牧业乃至整个社会经济的繁荣埋下了伏笔。</span></p>
